What would happen today if you went all in?  I mean all in … with the most insane amount of bravery you could find?

What would it change?

How would you feel?

I could give you a list of 100 things I want to do, but seem to keep putting off because they seem “too big” at the time.

Writing a book.

Creating topical workshops.

Starting a podcast …

What things seem too big for you?

A phone call you have been avoiding?

Some life-long learning?

Taking leadership in your life?

Living out your purpose without apology?

Sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage.  Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery and I promise you something great will come of it. ~ Matt Damon in We Bought a Zoo

Courage does not look the same for everyone.

It is personal.

Let’s unpack that …

In the movie Matt Damon’s character refers to courage in reference of meeting his future wife.  The twenty seconds it took him to approach her in a restaurant and ask, “Excuse me, why would an amazing woman like you, even talk to someone like me?”  Her response?  “Why not?”, she answered.

He asked.

Sometimes a question is the embarrassing bravery.

Let me ask you, where do you hold yourself back?

What could you ask?

What is it that you could lean into, step into, or put action to, that would make something great?

What change or difference would you be making?

Courage is what moves you and I, from where we are, into who we want to be.   Into who we were made and designed to be.

Twenty seconds of insane courage.

What would that look like for you?

A hard conversation?

Living authentically instead of pleasing others?

Saying no to something that is actually holding you back?

Saying yes to something that takes you out of your comfort zone?

Learning a new skill?

Resting and resetting?  … you would be surprised how courageous this can be!

Simplifying and focusing?

Trying something new?

What is it for you?  Where are you holding back?  Where are you staying comfortable?

All it is takes is twenty seconds of insane courage to do something great.  To change everything?

And just imagine, once you do that twenty seconds, you can do a second twenty seconds.

One twenty seconds at a time … and “I promise you, something great will come of it”.
