You are ready to go.

You’ve been planning a special trip for months, maybe even years.   It’s on your vision board and you have been planning this time away for probably years now.

You have the travel arrangements made, the transfer points set, the accommodations booked, and the daily excursions chosen.

… And you can . not . wait.

They say that most of the fun of a trip is in the planning and anticipation, and I have found that to be true.

Trips can hold some of our most treasured memories.

The moments in time that you can look back and remember why you treasure it, like smores and laughter around an evening fire.

I still remember details of a trip my parents took our family on over 40 years ago!  I remember the cottage with the big fireplace, the cross country skiing we did during the day and the swimming pool we jumped into in the evenings, the waiter that served us each evening at our “family table”, and fun of dressing up each evening.

I have told my parents so many times since what that week meant to me and how well I still remember it.

What is your favourite vacation memory?  The one you planned for and couldn’t wait to happen?  Maybe you didn’t even leave your home but the excitement and anticipation still kept you going for months before.

Now just imagine if you had that excitement and anticipation for planning your life?

What would change?

We plan our vacations but we tend to coast in our life.

So much of our lives just seem like natural responses that planning may not even seem necessary.

Family, work, and relationships happen with those around us and the things that come to our every day.

But … what if you put the same planning and anticipation into your life that you put into special trips?

What if you created those treasured memories in your life that you want to create?

We stop drifting and coasting when we put our plan into life and live it forward.

Have you ever found  yourself in a season of life and thought, “How did I get here?”.

Time has passed by way faster than you could have imagined and now you are here, and not sure how to get to dreamed about destinations.

“It was just yesterday …” seems to be said a lot.

We know planning works and we use it in many ways, we just seem to miss it in planning for our lives.

The reality is that just like your trips, leaving without a plan will most likely mean we will end up in an unintended destination at some point.  We will miss the excursion, and spend time looking for where we want to be instead of experiencing it.

You life is a gift and deserves the plan.

A plan to make sure you move forward with clarity of direction and confidence of a map.

A plan to not just go through time moving too fast.

A plan to write a better story, your best story.

To not settle for good, but go for great.

To be who you want to be and get to where you want to be.

A life plan helps you not only have directions and a path, but will help you “recalculate” when you need to.

It will help you experience the excursions that mean the most and help you make the difference you desire to make.

Are you ready to go, or do you need a life plan to help you get to the next journey?

Your next vacation, next seasons, or next stages of life?

Do you know you want to move but not sure which turn to take?

It starts with the clarity of a plan.
